Raymond Plummer (Can)

At 6'5" 250+++Lbs, he is surely the largest man on skates in Asia. With surprising speed and an ankle smashing shot from the point, he has been one of the top scorers in all of his 9 tours with Beijing Hockey. This self-proclaimed captain and organizer has lead the team Five times to Ulaan Baatar, four to Hong Kong, and Four Bangkok, as well as organized the legendary first amateur hockey tour to North Korea!. Ray has also lead tours to Taiyuan, Manila, Shanghai, Harbin, Nanjing, Macau, and organized games for his team  against the Chinese National Men’s and Woman’s Teams, the infamous Rougemont Cup Tournaments of Beijing and Harbin as well as three Beijing Children's Tournaments. 

Plummer is the only player on the team who regularly has Mongolian men staying in his flat. This gentle giant has been known to roast slap-shots at both teammates and opposition alike, with a small trail of dental work and broken bones to be repaired from Beijing to UB. This Finkle Award recipient has also been invited to play in scrimmages against the Chinese National Teams, giving lessons on body contact and control of space in the corners and in-front of the net.

After 7 year of bachelor life in Beijing, Ray's been caught in the corner by teammate Helen Froelich. The line mates got married in June 2003. Ray and Helen were exiled in Arizona. Chicago, NYC and New Jersey before returning to the Middle Kingdom in 2006 with their two soon to be hockey boys John & Robert!
