Chris Renolds (Can)
A leader of hockey in the U.A.E., and the Dubai Mighty Camels, Chris became a hero of Asian hockey with his direct involvement in Andrew Hjelmeland's fight for life during the Dubai Cup 2000 which he organized. "Ol' Lead Hand's" latest glory and leadership on ice was a rare goal that he scored in the Hong Kong 5's tournament, breaking a 3-3 tie with only 0.8 seconds left in the game verses the Okinawa Jar Heads (Marines). Though he keeps perpetuating rumors of a return to the Great White North, he seems to be stuck in the sands of the deserts, and for the sake of Asain hockey, it is hoped he stays in the region a few more years.
